We have top runners, tri-athletes, cyclists, baseball players, and semi-pro football players utilizing our proven treatment methods for keeping their Myofascial Tissue (muscle / connective tissue) elongated and functioning to its optimum potential.

Trauma and Poor Posture

Do you suffer from back pain or poor posture/movement of the body?

shoulder painYou don't need to be an athlete for your body to feel the need for Soft Tissue Manipulation. Most of our clients are ones who have suffered a trauma to their body.

It may have been a motor vehicle accident, a slip on the ice with a twist of the ankle, a repetitive strain injury or just the effect of gravity throwing your body off of its center = poor posture (See Structural Integration).

Our Soft Tissue Manipulation Techniques

The Soft Tissue Manipulation Techniques of Structural Integration, Myofascial Release and NMT are very specific to fascial (connective tissue) and musculoskeletal dysfunctions that are exhibited by most people.

In addition, we assist in the prevention of soft tissue injury and the maintenance of the overall wellness of an individual's Neuro-Musculoskeletal System (Nervous, Muscle, Skeletal, Connective Tissue).

Most individuals never think of their own bodies as needing maintenance, but the human body is the most finely constructed machinery you will ever run across, and it also needs tune-ups much the same as our car needs quarterly maintenance visits.

The Soft Tissue Mobilization Techniques focus on elongating adhesed / shortened tissue, and adding strength and support to the over-stretched myofascial tissue.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is a system of soft tissue manipulation that balances the nervous and musculoskeletal systems.

Myofascial Release is a highly interactive stretching technique of the fascia and muscles of the body.

Structural Integration is designed to restore the body to its natural state of alignment. It relieves chronic pain in the body and helps in recovery after surgical procedures and prevents sports-related injuries.

Visceral Manipulation involves the release of tension in the ligaments of the organs in the body. It is a gentle, but relatively deep tissue therapy with the entire emphasis on making sure that the organs move and glide freely. Visceral manipulation is extremely relaxing.
